I have never ever seen such a comprihensive guide about hardware of computers. this side really enable me to improve my h/w skills up to great extant. specially the module of CPU over clocking inspired me a lot. The only lacking thing in this site is that there is no Download facility. there must such a site for networking essentials. so i must request the owner of this site to build an other site for computer networking as well. or guide by links in your site to such site

One of the few pages where I can find a lot of clear infomortaion grouped in the same place. Easy to use read and understand and the diagrams make it even easier for novies to undrestand what is being said. A good place to start if you want to learn about computers and do not know anything but it lags a little in the lastest technology. Still I'll be sending the other students on my BSc course here. Another question for you....
(-:

Win 98. Cleron300A 0/C 474MHz. 64Meg pc100 SDRAM. Scsi CD Writer. Ultra(Is this possible) Cdrom
1.Gig IDE. 3.5 Gig Ultra IDE. AGP Diamond Viper V550. Abit BX 6 Motherboard

Now I want to utilize the Ultra HD. When I had Win 95 I had to have a special Ultra-Busmastering driver(I was using the tyan busmaster drivers prior to WIn 98 upgrade). Under Win 98(from what I understand you can't use it), you have to use the default? So are these the correct controllers below(from Microsoft System Information)? And all I have left to do is check the DMA box under each HD? SO my question is why do I get a 2MB/sec uncached in WIntune, and why is there still a mention of the tyan drivers down below, and whay does it say "drivers not installed" for a tynbmide.mpd(the settings I deleted useing the Tyan undelete FAQ) and all this is under Intel 82371AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller and also my Primary IDE controller (dual fifo)??? I already know the answer to my problem. I should have formated my C: and done a clean install, but I don't have all my software disks, so I had to do a upgrade. HELP!!!
